Olive oil is one of the wonders of the world. It’s not only good for you and makes food taste delicious, it also makes for an incredible hair conditioning treatment. Although summer is our favorite season, it can wreak havoc on our hair. Olive oil is our go-to. From the ocean, to chlorine, to lots of fun in the sun, hair seems to take a toll. But just a once or twice a week olive oil hair treatment can save your locks and keep you looking good. It’s as simple as warming up the oil and applying it to your hair. Cover with a towel, hair cap or plastic bag, and leave on for 30-60 minutes. Shampoo it out, condition as usual and voilà, your tresses will be more manageable and full of shine.

Princess Diana was one of the greatest style icons of the 21st century. The new book Timeless Icon was sponsored by Tod’s and created by Electa. It showcases candid photos of The Princess of Whales in all her sartorial glory. She was a one-of-a-kind beauty, with a fashion forward sensibility that impressed and mesmerized the world. She was not only one of the most beautiful human beings on the outside, she was by far one of the most beautiful on the inside. She took being a Princess to another level making social and humanitarian issues top priority, in a way no royal had done before. She will be forever missed and never duplicated. This is one coffee table book to hold on to forever. Get your hands on a copy here. (A portion of each sale goes to CLIC Sargent that supports children and young people with cancer. It was one of the first charities sponsored by Princess Di.)

Berry season is about to be in full swing and this Lemon Posset is a great way to enjoy them. This recipe is easy breezy and a great spring into summer dessert. I can’t wait wait to make a batch and garnish with blueberries, yum! (And talk about genius, the name of this blog rules.)
