There’s no denying that Summer is around the corner, which means finding a way to go from the beach to happy hour without looking entirely like Spicoli (unless that’s your deal, which is totally fine with us, man.) Original Penguin‘s Spring/Summer 2012 line is bright and beach-y with the level of dapperness you expect from the iconic line — definitely the perfect balance between tasty waves and a cool buzz.

According to the Roark blog, “Las Diablitas describe their sound as Mescla. ‘Mescla being a mixture of music from all over the world. A little French. Espana from Spain. Flamanco Astyilo. Flamanco style. Musica punk rock. Musica rock.’” Whatever it is, we’re just glad to have it in time for Cinco.

Another way to get festive is this Roark tee en Espanol (“waves now… work later!):

Mikey is a professional surfer and filmmaker with serious style. We love this round-up of his must-have items and short interview over at the J. Crew Tumblr. If you can’t get enough Mikey, there’s also a great interview with him (focused more on surfing, less on style) over at Liquid Salt.
