Z-Flex Skateboards is taking a journey back to where it all began in “The Beginning” with Z-Flex Vintage Premium (ZVP).
Z-Flex, born in 1976, is one of the longest running skateboard brands in history and celebrates this with a re-issue of the original fiberglass Z-Flex boards and a two part mini-documentary series filmed and edited by legendary skateboard filmer, Jon Holland.
The two part mini-documentary series is a reflection of the beginning of skateboarding told through the eyes of the legends that pioneered what we know as skateboarding today. Jay Adams, Tony Alva, Duane Peters, Marty Grimes and Jimmy Plumer (to name a few) join moderator for the day- Steve Olsen to reminisce on a time period and a story so many have tried to tell. Reflecting on style, spots, products, and the radical nature of the Z-Flex team, the two part series takes you back in time and retells the popular story of growing up and skating Dog Town from the guys who lived it.
Along with this mini-series, Z-Flex is re-issuing the iconic fiberglass boards in four models: The Original, Jay Adams, Warptail, and Jimmy Plumer. Each board comes in a numbered collectors display box with an authentic Z-Flex bandana and commemorative booklet. Only 300 units of each model will be made and sold worldwide.

Founded by two “two Midwestern guys obsessed with quality American made goods,” Buck Mason is revolutionizing the way men shop. They believe that men don’t necessarily hate fashion… it’s the shopping experience they typically find unenjoyable. They’re seeking to change this experience by designing 6-piece packages of well-made, cleanly-designed perfectly curated wardrobe staples. The focus is on timeless, classic styles that easily fit into every day wardrobes. Every few months, a new package debuts, making it easy to keep your closet well-stocked and styled with quality, American made clothes. Red Wing Heritage just launched a new Ice Cutter boot, the Heritage division’s first ever winter-specific boot, available at Askov Finlayson. “The Ice Cutter’s original purpose was to provide rugged northern workers with an insulated boot built on an aggressive sole capable of gripping ice and snow.” They also have enhanced slip-resistance for those who need the extra traction during the heavy winter months. These are rugged enough to wear on a hard, cold day outside at work but stylish enough to wear out to dinner that same night.
