When we were at the Launch Show a few months ago, we got to hang with the dudes from WAAR and Broken Homme (more to come on this rad boot line!) and couldn’t have been more impressed. Not only do these guys have fantastic personal style, but they’re working incredibly hard to put out high quality, fashion-forward brands that are made in the USA. The WAAR line looks like it would be just as comfortable on the runway as it would on the beach, which is probably because the founders’ roots are just as much in surfing, skateboarding and motorcycles as they are in design and fashion. The line is 100% made in the USA — from the zippers, fusing and buttons to the fabrics and assembly. They feel that “it’s time to start looking back to our country’s own resources” and they’ve worked hard to ensure that everything they do with WAAR is supporting this belief.
